Sorting the Favorites Folder

As you accumulate bookmarks saved in your Favorites folder, you should periodically sort the list.

Open the Internet Explorer program
Click Favorites button
Right click on the first folder
Select Sort by Name
Your folders will realign alphabetically. 

Do you want your favorites at the top of the list?

Select the folder you want at the top of the list
Right click and select Rename
A pop-up box will open

Type in the name of the file with A in front of it
Click OK
Continue renaming your favorite folders
Resort your Favorites list

The lists will sort the letter A first and then double sort according to subject
All your favorites will be on top.

You can sort according to A AA AAA or A B C

Using this option is a more permanent way of sorting folders.
