Spell Checker and Acronyms / Uppercase Words

When Acronyms of UPPERCASE words are typed into a document, the spell checker will flag them as misspelled words. Customize the settings to solve this problem.

Click Office Button
At the bottom of the screen click Word Options... button
Click Proofing on the left-hand side

Make sure there is a check mark in the Ignore words in UPPERCASE box
