Pushpin Use in Recent Documents List In Office 2003, this feature was listed as the Work Menu. It no longer appears in Office 2007, as the feature is integrated into the Office button functions. The list of Recent Documents will list all the files you are working on. The push button will allow you to keep these files active. Think of pinning documents on a bulletin board they will remain until you decide to remove them. As you click the Office Button, the following table displays
The most Recent Documents will appear on the right hand; notice the pushpins or Pin Icons located on the far right
To keep the documents on the list create a Favorites List by clicking the pushpin to the right of the file name. The documents will remain on the list. This is a great feature if you are working with the same documents. Placement of pinned documents Click to unpin the documents Reset the Number of Displayed documents The default number in Office 2007 is 17 documents versus the 9 found in
Office 2003. The number can be maximized to 50 listed documents. Revised : September 14, 2009 Sr. Arlene Callahan |
