Disable Auto Dating a Document
The auto dating option will update the date fields to today's date every time
you open your document. This is particularly useful if you use mail merge
documents on a regular basis.
If you find the auto dating option to be a problem, disable the option:
Go to Insert Tab / Text group
Select Date & Time option
Remove the check mark in the Update automatically box
Click OK
