Convert .ZIP File to .PPT/.PPTX Format

Presently I have Office 2007 installed on my laptop. Today I received a .zipped PowerPoint e-mail attachment. When I tried to open it, the screen was filled with garbage. How can I open this presentation?

The problem is with Internet Explorer, it does not recognize the .zip compression format.

Work Around

Open the email that contains the .zip
Right click on the .zip file
Select Save option

Select the (file or folder) or desktop where the presentation will be saved.

Click on the saved file; it will open in PPT program
Edit the document

Manually change to Save as
Select file type to .ppt (Office 2003) or .pptx. (Office 2007/2010)

Delete the .zipped file.
