The easiest way to add text to your SmartArt graphic is to use the Text Pane.

To activate the text pane, click the two arrows on the SmarArt border as shown below

The text pane displays on the left-hand side of the SmartArt

Type in the text with Indented text, etc.

You can add many combinations of Indented text ...the size of the text and box will automatically format to fit within the SmartArt design

When you are finished, close the text pane.

Click the X in the upper right hand corner.
