Slide Sorter: Change Order of Slides

Open the PowerPoint presentation

There are two options to change or rearrange the order of slides:

1. Use the Slide Sorter

If you have a large slide presentation this is the option to use, as you can see all the slides.

Go to the bottom of the screen and Click the icon on the status bar
The slide sorter will display

    To move a slide

Click on the slide and hold the left side mouse down
Drag and drop to the new position midway between the slides (a parallel line will display)
Release the mouse
Rearrange the slides
To get out of slide sorter, Click the icon on the status bar
 

2. Use Slides Tab Function

Go to the Slides tab on the Home tab

Select the slide thumbnail, then drag and drop the slide up or down to the new location.
