Inspect Presentation for Personal Information

Before publishing your PowerPoint presentation to the web or forwarding to colleagues inside and outside of the organization, inspect your presentation for comments, hidden notes and text, or other personal information.

Open the PowerPoint presentation
Make sure you have a saved copy of the presentation
Click the Office Button
Click Prepare option on the left-hand side of the screen
Click Inspect Document
Select the items you want to check
Most of these items are selected by default settings.
If you have Presentation Notes do not check the box.

Click Inspect

A list of results will display

In this presentation document properties were found
Click Remove All

Before you click the Remove All button double check the area ...

If you have added Presentation Notes ... do not click Remove All, just click the
    Remove all button for doc properties
Then Click Reinspect to make sure all the metadata is removed.


Resave your document to make sure all the metadata is removed.
