Hide / Show a Slide

When you have a large slide presentation, customize the presentation for different audiences by Hiding slides. Hidden slides remain in the presentation file even though they do not display in the Slide Show presentation.

Go to Outline and Slides tab

Click Slide tab

Right-click the slide for a drop-down menu of options

Click Hide Slide

The Hide Side Icon appears on the slide.

Notice the slashed numbered slide
In 2007 / 2010 the slide will grey out to indicate it is hidden.
