Embed Fancy Fonts

The fonts used in a document determine exactly how that document appears when viewed or printed. When a fancy font is used oftentimes PowerPoint will substitute with a common font. As a result the formatting can become distorted. Text will flow differently from one slide to the other.

The solution to this problem is to embed fonts.

Click the Office Button / Go to the bottom of the pane and select PPT Options
On the left hand side of the screen select Save

Go to the Preserve fidelity when sharing this document section

Check box Embed fonts in the file and Embed only the characters used in the presentation
If you are collaborating in a project and this presentation will be edited by others, then select
Embed all characters
OK

Make sure you save in the .ppt (Office 2003) or .pptx format (Office 2007).
Files saved in .rtf format do not always embed correctly.
