Carbon and Blind Copies

A Carbon Copy or Courtesy Copy is a copy of a message sent to another e-mail recipient. Both names will appear in the Message Header. 

Note: The e-mail recipient is aware that a copy is being mailed to another individual.

Bcc

A Blind Carbon Copy is a copy of a message sent to another e-mail recipient. Both names will appear in the Message Header of the sender only. However, the initial recipient of the e-mail does not see the BCC field. The BCC feature guarantees privacy. Use this feature when you want to send a copy to your supervisor, etc.

Note: The e-mail recipient is unaware that a copy is being mailed to another individual.

In order to activate the BBC feature:

Open new message in full view
Go to Options tab
Click Bcc
Once activated, the button will be colored peach

The next time you open e-mail the header will automatically display.
