Spell Checker and Acronyms / Uppercase Words

When Acronyms or UPPERCASE words are typed into a document, the spell checker will flag them as misspelled words. Customize the settings to solve this problem.

Click Office button / Word options button (Word 2007)
or
Click File button / Options (Word 202-10)

Click Proofing on the left-hand side

Make sure there is a check mark in the Ignore words in UPPERCASE box
OK
