Long-time users of Word were familiar with using the Tools / Options dialog box to make changes to Word's configuration. The options have been reconfigured in Office 2007.
Each program must be configured separately. Open Word, or PPT, or Excel, etc.
Click Office button
Go to bottom of the screen and click Word Options dialog box
The following screen will display
On the left hand side of the screen are the available functions
The Right hand side of the screen displays the configuration options
Go down the list and customize as needed
