Convert Text to Table

If you are trying to edit a text table and are having problems with the formatting, try converting the text to a table. You will be able to control the text. After you are finished editing the table. Reconvert table to text.

Highlight the text you want to convert
Go to the Insert tab / Table group
Click Table icon
Select Convert Text to Table

The following dialog box opens
Customize the following three sections / OK

The text will be converted to a table
Save the document
