Apply Quick Styles
Word has preformatted combinations of fonts, colors, and paragraph
formatting. Apply a Quick Style from the gallery, customize the existing styles,
or create your own.
Apply a Quick Style after the document is written.
If you are using a file that was created in Office 2003, you MUST save it as
a Word 2007 or 2010 format.
As you create new files add 07 at the beginning or end of your files.
As you will have 2003 and 2007 files in your folder, I suggest that you tag the
07 or 10 files.
Example: jfkinaugural07
Open document
Go to Home tab / Styles group / Quick Style gallery

The following styles table displays

If you want to change the color scheme
Go to Change Styles button Click Blue arrow for options

Click Colors

Select a group of coordinated colors
Notice the colors in the Styles group will change according to the color scheme
that you select.
The font can also be changed.
Once you have selected a Style / Color you are ready to format the document.
