Merge Documents
Although cut and paste is a useful option, it is not
recommended when you want to merge documents. There is a far better and easier
method.
Open a new document; or, open the first document
that will be used to merge other documents.
After the document is open
Do you want the second document to be merged on a separate page?
If yes, follow the yellow highlighted area directions;
If no, skip the highlighted area.
Click Insert tab / Page break icon
A new page will display
Click Insert tab / Text group

Click the Object arrow
Select Text from File... from drop-down list
Go to the file you want to merge
Highlight the file
Click Insert
The second document is merged.
For additional merged documents, repeat the procedure.
