Delete Line in Middle of Document

By default, Word sometimes will add a border or line to paragraphs in the document.

This feature of Word can be controlled in two ways:

1.  Change AutoCorrect Options

Click Office Button /  Word Options

Select Proofing / Choose AutoCorrect options / AutoFormat at you Type tab

Clear Border lines check box / OK

2. Edit the document if you have a border or line

Depending on what type of line you have try the following:
Highlight the Line or Click on the line or under the line
Click Delete or Backspace key
