Embed .PDF File in Word Document

With Microsoft Word version 2000 and later, it is possible to embed a .pdf file in a regular document.

Instead of using the Insert File option, use the Insert Object option.

Click Insert tab / Text Group

Click Object
From the drop-down list select Object
The following dialog box displays

Go to Create from file tab
Browse to find the document
Highlight the file
Click Display as icon box / OK
 

To make sure the .pdf file is embedded Click the icon in the Word document to see if the file opens.
