Type Data Over a Solid Line

When typing data over a line, the line moves over to the right. Create a table with solid lines.

Create a table for the data or the form:



Right-click anywhere in the table; the following list displays
Select Borders and Shading...


The dialog screen displays

Go to Borders tab
Under Setting: Click None
Under Style: Select solid line (Add color and width as needed)
In the Preview section: Click Middle line if you have several rows and Bottom Line
Apply to: Cell / OK

The table should look somewhat like the following without the blue highlighted area.

Adjust the length of the cells.

Type the data in the cells; the text will appear over the fixed line.
