Vertical Line Between Columns

Normally there are no vertical lines between columns. However, for special effect it is possible to add a vertical line as needed.

Highlight the text you want to covert to columns;
or
Position the insertion point at the beginning of the text you want to convert to columns.

Go to Page Layout / Page Setup
Click Columns / More Columns
Click on the Line Between check box / OK
