Insert a Citation

Go to References tab / Citations & Bibliography group

Click Insert Citation button

If you have added bibliographic sources, a list will appear with the information.
Notice the area in red for the citation to James Kramer.

Click Kramer, James the source
(Kramer, 2006) will appear in the text
Click over the entry (Kramer, 2006) and you find a bluish blue field
Click the blue arrow to select an option

Select Edit Citation and the screen displays
Add the page number(s); you might have to suppress the year depending on which style you select / OK

The Citation is now listed in your paper.
