Text in ALL CAPS
If you type text in a Word document and all the text is in CAPS,
make sure you do not have the Caps Lock key on. Also, do not
use the following short cut keys: CTRL+SHIFT+A as this
activates the CAPS lock option.
If the problem persists close the document.
Check the following settings in the Word
program.
Open Word
program
Go to Home tab /
Font group … click the little blue arrow
The following
screen displays
Go
to Font tab / Effects section
Make sure you do not have the All caps section selected;
if so remove the check mark from the box and click OK.

Click Font tab
Scroll down to Effects section
Make sure the All caps box is not checked off; if you have a check mark delete
it
OK
Close the program and then reopen it and check to see if the change was made.
If you are still having a problem with CAPS
Open the Word document
Go to Home tab / Clipboard group
Highlight all the text
Click Copy
Open a new document
Paste into a new document.
As you made the change in the program, the next time you open a document
and type, you should have normal text.
If you are still having a problem with the CAPS text would you send me the
document for analysis and repair.
