Open in Maximized Window

If you use a shortcut from the desktop, the Start Menu, or the Quick Launch Bar many programs will open in minimized or maximized windows. To open all shortcuts in maximized view, customize the properties of each icon.

Go to the shortcut icon on your desktop
Right click over the icon
Select properties
Go to Shortcut tab / Run: field

The default setting is Normal
Select Maximized
OK

If you have a program icon
Go to Start Button
Click All Program Button
Select the program / Right click ... follow directions above.
