When you insert a footnote, the text will always be the same font and size as used in the body of the document. The footnote reference is always 2 points smaller than the default size. Example: Type of font for footnote: Times New Roman Size 12 Use the type and size of font that is recommended by the editor, etc. if you are preparing a manuscript for publication.
