Viewing Options

There are four different ways to view a document. Below is a table listing each type and use.

Type of View

Use

Normal

Best used when you are working with straight text. Graphic images do not show up in this view.

Web Layout

Best used when creating a web page. In this view you can see the background, text will automatically wrap to fit the window and images will display.

Print Layout

Best used when your document contains images, headers, footers, and columns. Each will display.

Outline

Best used when you want the document to display in outline format. This feature works well if your document is well organized with headings, subheadings, etc.

To change from one view to another:

Click View from the Main Menu

Select the desired View from the drop-down list

Or,

  Click on the View Icons located at the bottom left hand side of the screen
