Back  Up Plan

Are you preparing a PowerPoint presentation for a professional group? Be prepared to cope with a computer or computer connection that does not work.

In the event that a PowerPoint presentation fails, always rehearse two presentations -- one with the computer and one without.

A perfect backup is a set of printed handouts. They contain miniature slides of your presentation.

Suggestion: If you travel with a laptop, make two copies of your PPT presentation and save them in different folders. If one fails, you have an alternative program. If you travel with diskettes, make two copies.

See the tutorial Printing Handouts.
