Annotation Pen

PowerPoint includes the Annotation Pen function, which allows you to write on slides. The marks are temporary.

To Activate the Annotation Pen

Open the PPT presentation to Slide Show
Right Click anywhere on the slide

Click Pointer Options

Click Pen
Select Pen Color

The pointer has now changed to a small pen
Place the pen where you want to write
Press and hold your mouse button and underline / circle the words
Write on the screen, etc.
Release the mouse button

This feature demands a great deal of hand coordination. Practice makes perfect!

To Deactivate the Annotation Pen

Right click on the slide
Click Pointer Options

Click Automatic
