Retrieving
Deleted Messages

It is possible to retrieve a deleted message if it is listed in the Deleted Items folder.

Select Deleted Items folder from the Folder List or Outlook Shortcuts bar

Click Tools

The following drop-down list will display

 

Select Recover Deleted Items

Note:  If the Recover Deleted Items is not highlighted ... you are not
          in the Deleted Items folder

  The deleted list can be sorted in three different ways:

Subject        Deleted On        From

 

To sort, Click on the any of these fields 

Highlight the e-mail message

Click the Recover Selected Items button

The message will be retrieved and placed in the Deleted Items list

Close the Dialog Box

Go to the Deleted Items list 

Highlight the retrieved message and drag and drop into the appropriate folder
