Outlook has the ability to display fancy background stationery. As most of the college community is now trained to use the finer aspects of Outlook, you will be receiving e-mail messages with background stationery. If you intend to view stationery, you must use HTML to format your e-mail. Directions for setting HTML formatting: 1. Bring up your Outlook program
5. Send this message in: from the drop-down list Select HTML Use background stationery for on-campus e-mail and for other users of Outlook. Do not use background stationery for other e-mail services. Many of them cannot read Outlook's stationery code. NOTE: If you have not customized your system to receive in HTML code, e-mail will be delivered on a white background. However, you will see an attachment file with the name of the stationery on the bottom left hand side of the e-mail. Disregard the attachment. Do not attempt to open it, as the HTML format is disabled. February 02, 2010 Sr. Arlene Callahan |
