Installing the Rivier College Certificate Chain.

 Please follow the following instruction to install the Rivier College Certificate Chain on your computer.  This will allow you to reach encrypted Rivier College web sites without seeing a warning message.  The screens you see on your computer should be like the ones below, however, there may be subtle differences.

1. Open a web browser and click on or type in the address:  http://www.rivier.edu/certsrv
   A logon dialog box will appear and you will need to type in your username and password in the following format:
   
       RIVNET\username
        password
   
2. The Certificate welcome page will appear.  At the bottom of the page you will see “Download a CA certificate, certificate chain, or CRL.”  Click on that link.
   
   
   
   

3. On the third line of the page, you will see a link to “install this CA certificate chain.”  Click on that link
   
   
    

4. A warning dialog box similar to one of the two below will appear. Click “Yes.”
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. If the certificate installs successfully, you will see the below screen.
