Word Templates

Word 2010 has a great variety of preformatted templates to download to your computer. Check them out, you might find something that is useful for you.

Open Word program
Click File / Select New
The screen displays several folders of specialized templates

Click on any of these folders and several samples display
Click on a sample and in the template will display in the viewing pane
After you find a template that fits your need
Click the Download button / The template opens in the program
Insert the information
Save as a regular file and not a template.

The next time you open the Template file your template will be found in the My templates folder.

Or, return to the original folder where you found the template.
