Send/Save Contact Group as Attachment

Outlook 2010 has a simple and efficient way to send a distribution list as an e-mail attachment.

Open Outlook program
Click Contacts folder from the folder list
Highlight and right click over the Contact Group

The following pop-up will display

Select Send Full Contact
Select In Outlook Form

An Outlook e-mail opens with the distribution list attachment

Add message and send as a regular e-mail.

Save Distribution List

If you receive a distribution list as an attachment and want to save it to your Contacts folder
Drag the attachment and drop it in the Contacts Folder

Open your Contacts folder to make sure the distribution list is included.
