Advanced Search Tools

Outlook 2010 has the ability to perform an advanced or expanded search for various types of information. Learn how to use the new Search Tools toolbar and functions. The search feature can save you a great deal of time to find that lost email.

Open the Outlook program
Click the Inbox button
At the top of the email navigation pane click the Search icon
The following Search toolbar and Search Tools will display

Select any of the choices ... some choices have a drop-down list
Type the text, name, or phrase you are looking for in the gold search box
The results will display under the search box
Notice the search time will be underlined in yellow

Try the various options, the results are fantastic.
This is one of the best new features in Outlook 2010.
