Congratulations to all Rivier students planning to graduate with the Class of 2013! When you receive your Rivier diploma, you will proudly join more than 17,000 alumni across the United States and the globe.

Information regarding Rivier’s 78th Commencement Exercises and other related activities during the Commencement week is listed below. Please continue to refer to this web page for all information and updates regarding Commencement.

Commencement exercises will be held at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. Graduation candidates should arrive by 8:30 a.m. to line up for the academic procession. Graduates enter through the east entrance (located at street level on the right hand side of the main entrance), and guests should enter using the main entrance.


As one of our newest graduates, you will become a member of the Rivier University Alumni Association and will be entitled to a variety of benefits and services offered by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations. Click here to learn more.

Grad Finale – Wednesday, March 20, 3 p.m.-7 p.m., Dion Center
After years of hard work and dedication, you’ve finally achieved one of your greatest goals – graduating from Rivier University. You deserve a celebration in your honor.

That’s why Rivier University has partnered with Jostens to offer you Grad Finale, your one-stop source for everything you’ll need to graduate. Everything but the degree, that is. Your cap and gown, announcements, class ring, and on-campus resources…..all in one convenient place, and all for you.

It’s your hard work that has gotten you this far, now let us do some of the work to take the hassle out of your graduation experience. Take this opportunity to make graduation day a success and a moment you will never forget.

Caps and Gowns
For cap and gown information, please go to the Rivier University Bookstore website.

Prices are as follows for the complete outfit:
• Associate degree - $62.00
• Bachelor's degree - $62.00
• Master's degree - $68.00 

Announcements
Graduates are entitled to ten Commencement Announcements. Guests of the graduates are not required to have a ticket for entry into the Tsongas Center.

Graduation Fee
A $125 graduation fee must be paid prior to picking up the announcements. You will receive a bill for this fee from the Business Office. This fee must be paid to obtain announcements.

Financial Aid Recipient Information
If you borrowed from the Stafford or Perkins Loan Programs, you must complete an EXIT interview. Stafford Loan requirements may be met by visiting http://www.mappingyourfuture.org/oslc/.

Commencement Photos
An official photographer will attend Commencement to photograph all graduates as they receive their degree. You will receive information about this soon. If you do not hear from the photographer and wish to make arrangements to receive your photo, you may contact Commencement Photos, Inc., 1348 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876, (978) 851-5924.

Diploma and Transcripts
Diplomas will be given out at Commencement, immediately following the ceremony. All diplomas and all transcripts will be withheld until graduates have completed their EXIT interview paperwork and fulfilled all outstanding financial obligations to the University.
