Only  a small fraction of graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, and digital artists have the level of creativity and of professionalism needed and desired by their clients. It is the close-knit environment of Rivier College's art department that gave me the upper hand over other graphic designers in the field. The professors are real-world designers, photographers, and illustrators who prepare their students for a smooth transition into their field. More important is each professor's assistance in developing each student's individual style and approach.
