Led by Student Orientation Leaders, students and their families are introduced to all that Rivier has to offer. It is the goal of the Orientation program for each student to leave with everything they need to have a successful beginning at Rivier. Placement assessment and course selection take place and students will meet current as well as other incoming Rivier students. Parents and family members also learn about Rivier during their own orientation which includes presentations on academics, student life, and the development of college students. All incoming students are expected to attend their Orientation program. For First-Year Students The First Year Student Orientation is an overnight program that begins on Day 1 and ends at noon on Day 2.
