On December 6, more than 125 members of the Rivier University and Greater Nashua community gathered on the Chapel Quad for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Each year, alumni, faculty, staff, family members, students, Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, and friends of the University join together to celebrate the joy of the Christmas season.

Lindsay Francoeur '17, Student Government Association (SGA) President, offered greetings on behalf of the SGA which sponsored the event.

Regina Shearer, Associate Vice President for Student Success, graced guests with performances of O Holy Night and The Christmas Song and Brother Paul Demers gave a Christmas blessing. The tree lighting was followed by a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and all enjoyed cookies and hot cocoa throughout the evening.

Thank you to all who contributed to make this a meaningful and joyful celebration.
