is preparing for its annual Thanksgiving Basket Project, setting a goal of 350 food
baskets and turkeys for distribution to local families in need.
Students, staff, faculty, and alumni
have been invited to participate in this community service project. Donations
are being collected by the Campus Ministry Office and will be assembled in the
Dion Reception Room for the Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service at 11:30
a.m. on November 22.
Nashua-area agencies will attend the service, after which the food baskets will
be loaded into their waiting vehicles by Rivier students, coaches, faculty and

Inc., Corpus Christi Food Pantry, Greater Nashua Mental
Health at Community Council, Healthy at Home, HIV/AIDS Task Force, Keystone
Hall, Nashua Foundation for Oncology/Hematology, Nashua Soup Kitchen and
Shelter, NH Catholic Charities, The Salvation Army, Title One, and, for the
first time this year, C.O.R.E. (Community Outreach Resource & Education
