Rivier University offers global experience on health care in China

Rivier University’s Office of Global Engagement and Division of Nursing are offering a transformative educational experience and tour of China from May 21 – May 31, 2014 for Rivier alumni and health professionals. Registration is open now. 

Participants will visit the Peking University Medical Center and tour the School of Nursing, the Shanghai Institute of Preventative Medicine and National Museum of Chinese Traditional Medicine, as well as a traditional Chinese Hospital.  

The trip will mix cultural sites of Beijing and Shanghai, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall, and the Bund, with a focus on traditional and modern medical care in China, including traditional herbs, the role of Tai Chi, and cutting-edge health care training. The complete itinerary is available at global_china.aspx.
