Graduating Class Gift Program

April 29, 2013

Leave Your Mark

The Graduating Class Gift recognizes the generosity of graduating students as they give back to the University in support of current and future students. The mission of this long-standing tradition is to promote a philanthropic spirit among the graduating class by providing students an opportunity to start their legacy of giving to the University. This gift is one way graduating students can demonstrate their pride in being a River graduate.

The Class of 2013 has chosen to give back to current and future River students by contributing to the creation of new signage and gateways on the Rivier campus, as part of the University’s strategic plan. This signage will increase the visibility of Rivier within the community.

"As a class, we wanted to give something that was meaningful to the University and went along with the strategic plan,” said Rivier senior Chloe Landon, chairperson- of the Student Government Association and secretary on the Student Programming Board. “The added signage will create a sense of community on campus and increase awareness of Rivier University throughout Nashua. It is my honor to make a donation to the Class of 2013 gift and add the introduction of the gift plaque so that future Rivier classes can enjoy the campus and take pride in their school as much as I have over the past four years."

In addition to their Class Gift, the Class of 2013 has gifted the Graduating Class Gift Recognition Plaque. The plaque will be located in the Dion Center and will recognize all Class Gifts, starting with the Class of 2013 and the first class to graduate since the transition to Rivier University. At the end of each academic year a plate will be added to the plaque with the graduating class year and gift designation.

Making your class gift is quick and easy and can be done in one of three ways: by dropping off your completed gift form and donation at the Rivier Business Office, online, or sending it by mail to: Rivier University, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, 420 South Main Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
