Karen oversees development, alumni relations, marketing and advertising, publications, internal and external communications, and the University website. As a member of the University’s senior leadership team, she works with the administration, faculty, and staff to develop integrated marketing and development strategies. Karen is a member of the board of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Chamber’s Executive Committee and as chair of IUGO, the Greater Nashua young professionals network. She also serves on the boards of the Gateway Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro. Karen is a graduate of Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. with a degree in English and Psychology. She earned her M.B.A. with a marketing concentration from Rivier in 2003.

Patricia oversees marketing and communications initiatives at Rivier University including print collateral, advertising, public relations and crisis communications, and the University website. She has been active in the marketing and communications fields for more than 20 years with an extensive background and a passion for higher education. She has played an integral role in the college transition to university status, branding and identity study and implementation, website redesign, and campus and strategic master planning. Patricia is focused on creative and engaging approaches to promoting an educational institution highlighting exceptional students, alumni and faculty to increase an institution’s profile and reputation. She has taught marketing for several years at the university level and enjoys mentoring and encouraging students to reach their goals and beyond. She has held memberships in the American Marketing Association, the Rindge Chamber of Commerce, the Manchester Rotary Club, Toastmaster’s International, Spiritsong Drummers, Case, and various historic associations. She earned her B.S. in Marketing from New Hampshire College and her M.S. in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University.

Julia serves as the primary writer for Rivier University, supporting marketing, recruitment and advancement strategies and initiatives. This includes writing copy for a variety of marketing and recruitment publications and materials; public relations, including identifying PR opportunities for the University, writing press releases and disseminating to the media; and the web site. Julia also oversees Rivier's social media presence on channels such as Facebook and Twitter, including content development/creation and regularly posting news, events and photos to engage the Rivier University community and beyond. She also makes regular updates to Rivier's public-facing web site, Rivier.edu, ensuring that content is current and accurate. Julia earned her B.A. in English/Journalism with a minor in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire, Durham.

Andrea is an integral member of the marketing team, strengthening and supporting the University brand. She works closely with all University departments to produce high quality and timely communications. Andrea is responsible for the creativity and execution of University material, by effectively communicating and coordinating with the Marketing team to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message. With more than 20 years experience working in an agency setting, Andrea brings the expertise and attention to detail that is essential to supporting Rivier’s dedication to ‘transforming hearts and minds to serve the world.’

Nicole is responsible for providing office support for the Offices of Marketing & Communications and Development & Alumni Relations, including the Annual Fund and Special Events. She serves as assistant to the Executive Director of Development and Marketing, Karen Cooper. Nicole has also been assigned as a relocation expert for Rivier's new hires. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Rivier and expects to graduate in May of 2013. Nicole is also a licensed realtor in the state of New Hampshire, working for broker Coco Early & Associates, and has a long history in New Hampshire real estate.
