COMMUTING TO RIVIER

Commuter Basics
If you commute to Rivier College, you’re not alone; commuter students make up about 50 percent of our daytime student population. This page briefly highlights some of the services available to you as a commuter. If you have any questions or want to see something added here, please contact the Office of Student Activities.

U-PASS
Starting this fall, Rivier College students, staff, and faculty will be able to use Nashua Transit busses for free! Simply present your Rivier ID card to the transit driver when you board the bus. The pass is valid to use at all times the bus is running and is available to take you to any of the stops in Nashua. There's a stop conveniently located in front of the Regina Library. Contact Nashua Transit at (603) 880-0100 for times and details of transit service. Contact the Office of Student Activities at (603) 897-8254 or e-mail prandazza@rivier.edu for questions about U-PASS.

Meal Plan
Full-time commuters have the option to purchase a 25-block meal plan each semester at a cost of $75, allowing for 25 “anytime” meals per week in the campus dining hall. For more information, contact Sodexho Campus Services at (603) 897-8464 or the Business Office in Adrienne Hall at (603) 897-8675.

Dining Discount Dollars
All commuters, full-time and part-time, are eligible to take advantage of discounted, “cash free” purchases at the campus dining hall and food kiosks. To make arrangements, visit the Business Office in Adrienne Hall, and make a deposit on your college ID card. Then simply present your ID at the dining hall or at food kiosks on campus to receive a 15% discount on all food and drink purchases.

Off-Campus Housing
If you are looking to rent a house or apartment in the area, you are invited to check with the Office of Student Development in the Dion Center for a current list of available off-campus housing.
