If you commute to Rivier College, you’re not alone! Commuter students make up about 50 percent of our daytime population. This page highlights some of the services available to you as a commuter. GETTING TO CAMPUS

U-PASS~ Rivier College students, staff, and faculty can use Nashua Transit busses for free! Simply present your Rivier ID card to the transit driver when you board the bus. The pass is valid to use at all times the bus is running and is available to take you to any of the stops in Nashua. There's a stop conveniently located in front of the Regina Library.

Parking~ As a commuter student, you're able to park in specifically marked commuter lots on-campus. You must register your car with Campus Safety (located in the Dion Center) to receive your parking sticker.  Use this link to connect to a list of parking regulations and a campus map click here

CAMPUS DINING

Meal Plan~ Commuters have the option to purchase a 25-block meal plan each semester at a cost of $75, allowing for 25 “anytime” meals per week in the campus dining hall. For more information, contact Sodexo Campus Services at (603) 897-8464 or the Business Office in Adrienne Hall at (603) 897-8675.

Dining Discount Dollars~ All commuters, full-time and part-time, are eligible to take advantage of discounted, cash-free purchases at the campus dining hall and food kiosks. To make arrangements, visit the Business Office in Adrienne Hall, and make a deposit on your college ID card. Present your ID at the dining hall or at food kiosks on campus to receive a 15% discount on all food and drink purchases.

SERVICES

Off-Campus Housing~ If you would like to rent a house or apartment in the area, please check with the Office of Student Development in the Dion Center for a current list of available off-campus housing.  Please note that these listings are not endorsed or approved by the College and the College has no involvement with the rental process; this list is provided as a service to our neighbors who want to rent space and to our students who are looking for college-friendly landlords.

Mail Room ~ The Mail Room, located in the Dion Center, offers a convenient location for students to send and receive mail and packages via the U.S. Postal Service, UPS, Federal Express, and other delivery services. For more information, call (603) 897-8524 or email cguild@rivier.edu

Lockers~ Lockers are available in the Dion Center, ground floor, next to the Bookstore; you can register for a locker and key in the Office of Student Activities.  If you prefer, there are additional lockers in Sylvia Trottier Hall; these lockers are first come-first served, and you need provide your own padlock/combination lock.   

School Closings~ In the event of inclement weather, the College may decide to delay or cancel the opening of the College including scheduled classes, labs, nurses’ clinicals, and offices. The College may also close early.

A decision to delay or cancel the opening of the College will be made at the earliest possible time. Delays and cancellations will be communicated on the College’s website, through the College’s main number: (603) 888-1311 then press “8,” and through the following media outlets:

Emergency Notification System ~ Emergency Messages will be sent to all students, faculty, and staff registered with the Everbridge emergency notification system. For more information on the system and to register, click here.
