Biology Lab Assistant

Student will be responsible for maintaining clean working conditions in the teaching laboratories. This will entail washing glass ware, preparing disinfectants, refilling distilled water containers, replacing frequently used solutions, and performing other duties related to the labs

Nursing Lab Assistant
Department: Division of Nursing
Students applying for the position of Nursing Lab Assistant work study must have successfully completed (or be applying for a position that will begin after completion) NSG 101, NSG 102. Desirable qualities in applicants include punctuality, good interpersonal skills, and good standing in the nursing program. Students must also submit one reference from a nursing clinical instructor.
Computer Lab Assistant
Department: Information Technology
To be of assistance to students who are programming or using application software; to oversee the smooth operation and orderly setup of the computer labs; to implement the management and procedural policies.
Tech Tools Support Specialist
Department: Information Technology Services
The Tech Tools Support Specialist will assist students with questions they have about various technology related academic tools. The Support Specialist will be located in the Regina Library and be available during evening hours beyond the normal operating hours of IT staff. He or she will assist students with the following as a minimum:
* Connecting wirelessly to the campus network
* Printing from campus computers
* Using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to complete assignments
* Using Canvas
* Using internet search tools to locate answers to technology questions
The technician will maintain accurate records of types, and times, of support provided, as directed by supervisory personnel.
In addition the technician will :
* Troubleshoot classroom setups on an as needed basis,
* Perform routine tasks for the Office of Information Technology

patrons entering and exiting the library, this position requires ability to
check books in and out, maintain a clean and orderly space, and assist patrons with
basic library needs.
Residence Hall Front Desk Assistant
Department: Student Life/Housing
Desk Assistants (DAs) work in one of the Universities three Residence Halls. Varied hours are available from 11am-12midnight Sunday - Wednesday and from 11am - 2am Thursday - Saturday. DAs answer phones, give directions, monitor flow of traffic to and from building, register overnight guests, make announcements and pages throughout the building, transfer calls and serve as a receptionist for the residence hall in which they work. DAs will also have to go through mandatory Clery Training in order to start working.

RECEPTIONIST AT RIVIER UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY.
on the duration of each exhibition, work-study positions at The Art Gallery
generally offer employment from 9 to 11 weeks per semester.
Receptionist tasks involve opening
and/or closing the gallery, keeping watch over high-cost exhibitions, and
greeting visitors; also, as needed, some set-up tasks and visitor assistance
with digital components.
Office responsibilities are combined
with receptionist duties. While at the reception desk students have specific
tasks to complete at an iMac computer.

Tuesday, and Wednesday between 10 A.M.
and 4 P.M.
between 10 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
