Position:   Fitness Room Worker    Department:  Athletics

 

  • Supervise the fitness room during open hours
  • Give new users fitness room orientations on all of the equipment
  • Replace weights, clean machines as needed
  • Do computer input or other department duties as assigned

Position:   Nursing Lab Assistant    Department:  Division of Nursing

Students applying for the position of Nursing Lab Assistant work study must have successfully completed (or be applying for a position that will begin after completion) NSG 101, NSG 102, NSG 201. In addition, students who have also completed NSG 203 will be given priority. Desirable qualities in applicants include punctuality, good interpersonal skills, and good standing in the nursing program. Position:   Student Employee Support Specialist, Office of Disability Services    Department:  Office of Disability Services

Position:   Registrar's Office Assistant    Department:  Registrar's Office

Assists students with requests for transcripts, registration, scheduling and enrollment verifications.

Ensures compliance with Family Education Rights and Privacy Act and maintains confidentiality of student records.

Provides assistance to a variety of telephone requests, walk-in traffic and email requests for clarification of college policies.

Organize and maintain various general files and records related to assigned functions.

Position:   Receptionist/Office Assistant    Department:  The Art Gallery

RECEPTIONIST AT RIVIER UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY. 

Depending on the duration of each exhibition, work-study positions at The Art Gallery generally offer employment from 9 to 11 weeks per semester.   

 

Receptionist tasks involve opening and/or closing the gallery, keeping watch over high-cost exhibitions, and greeting visitors; also, as needed, some set-up tasks and visitor assistance with digital components.

Office responsibilities are combined with receptionist duties. While at the reception desk students have specific tasks to complete at an iMac computer.

Work hours are available:

Monday, Tuesday, and  Wednesday between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M.

Thursday between 10 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.

An application interview is required during the first week of classes. Kindly e-mail the Gallery Director, Sister Theresa Couture, at tcouture@rivier.edu.  No phone calls, please.  In the e-mail indicate clearly the OPEN HOURS for which you would like to be considered. Please do not request work during hours when the Gallery is closed.
