America Reads is a student employment program that entails assisting a child with their schoolwork during school hours. We are looking for students who are friendly, dependable, enthusiastic, and have a desire to help other children as well as give teachers a hand in the classroom.
Department: Athletics/Physical Education
Do various jobs at Rivier intercollegiate games. Jobs can be: ball people, video-taping, scorekeeping, statistics keeping, gate/admissions, timer, clock. etc. You will be assigned to jobs. We can train you for the various positions.
Department: Department of Admission
A Student Ambassador represents Rivier University to prospective students and families, as well as supports Admissions staff in daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Rivier University and have the ability to communicate the value of a Rivier education to all visitors.
Administration Student Employee Support Specialist
Department: Division of Business
The Division of Business Student Employee Support Specialist responds to, and supports administrative related projects and tasks, in furtherance of Division goals and objectives supporting the Institution, Division faculty and staff, and students.
Department: Landry Early Childhood Center
Assist teachers with classroom preparations, organizing, curriculum preparations and projects, clean up, sanitizing toys and dishes. May include some clerical duties for classroom. Assist administrative team with some clerical duties such as filing, delivering messages. Some duties may also include helping with kitchen organization and snack preparation for the week.
Registrar's Office Assistant
Department: Registrar's Office
Assists students with requests for transcripts, registration, scheduling and enrollment verifications.
Ensures compliance with Family Education Rights and Privacy Act and maintains confidentiality of student records.
Provides assistance to a variety of telephone requests, walk-in traffic and email requests for clarification of college policies.
Organize and maintain various general files and records related to assigned functions.
Department: The Art Gallery
RECEPTIONIST AT RIVIER UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY. Mainly involves opening and/or closing the gallery, keeping watch over high-cost exhibitions, and greeting visitors; also some clerical and set-up tasks as needed.
Hours are available between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; between 10 A.M. and 6:30 P.M. Tuesday; between 10:00 A.M. and 1 P.M. Friday
