Executive Director, Center for Behavioral Health Professions and Workforce DevelopmentMISSION:
Center for Behavioral Health Professions and Workforce Development will unify
under one brand and recruitment strategy graduate programs in counseling,
school psychology, psychiatric mental health nursing, public health and healthcare
administration. Outreach will focus on communications, marketing, recruitment,
and organizational synergy to increase workforce relevance, enrollment, community
partnerships and grant funding opportunities. The Center will emphasize the impact
that Rivier’s academic programs can have in expanding a professional workforce
prepared to address behavioral health issues, especially substance use disorder
(SUD), through education, prevention and treatment.
Under the general supervision of the Vice President for
Enrollment Management, the Director of the Center for Behavioral Health
Professions and Workforce Development is responsible for collaborative
engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve enrollment goals
while expanding awareness and relevance of Rivier’s programs to the behavioral
health community, employers, government agencies, foundations and grantors.
Initiatives will focus on Rivier’s ability to expand the workforce pipeline
through the delivery of academic programs.
- Provide strategic leadership in achieving the
Center’s goals for the branding, recruitment, and enrollment growth.
- Partner with University’s enrollment and
marketing leadership to build targeted and effective recruitment and enrollment
campaigns through multi-channel marketing efforts.
- Map the current portfolio of Rivier’s
programs in behavioral health to the needs of regional employers.
- Develop and extend Rivier’s community and
employer relationships. Collaborate with University leadership and academic

- Research and identify government and private
grant funding opportunities.
candidate will have a master’s degree and employment experience in the one of
the programs represented in the portfolio of Rivier’s behavioral health programs,
with a preference for experience in a counseling or mental health environment. Demonstrated
passion for connecting academic programs to students and employers. Experience supporting
professional or graduate educational programs and working with diverse
stakeholders. Working knowledge of state licensure and addiction certification requirements.
