Enrollment Management


MISSION:

 The Center for Behavioral Health Professions and Workforce Development will unify under one brand and recruitment strategy graduate programs in counseling, school psychology, psychiatric mental health nursing, public health and healthcare administration. Outreach will focus on communications, marketing, recruitment, and organizational synergy to increase workforce relevance, enrollment, community partnerships and grant funding opportunities. The Center will emphasize the impact that Rivier’s academic programs can have in expanding a professional workforce prepared to address behavioral health issues, especially substance use disorder (SUD), through education, prevention and treatment.  

 



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Under the general supervision of the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Director of the Center for Behavioral Health Professions and Workforce Development is responsible for collaborative engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve enrollment goals while expanding awareness and relevance of Rivier’s programs to the behavioral health community, employers, government agencies, foundations and grantors. Initiatives will focus on Rivier’s ability to expand the workforce pipeline through the delivery of academic programs.

 

  •  Provide strategic leadership in achieving the Center’s goals for the branding, recruitment, and enrollment growth.
  •  Partner with University’s enrollment and marketing leadership to build targeted and effective recruitment and enrollment campaigns through multi-channel marketing efforts.
  •  Map the current portfolio of Rivier’s programs in behavioral health to the needs of regional employers.
  •  Develop and extend Rivier’s community and employer relationships. Collaborate with University leadership and academic divisions.
  •  Develop informational and recruitment events extending the reach of Rivier’s programs in behavioral health throughout the region.
  •  Proactively leverage opportunities by developing partnerships with external organizations that will enhance the pipelines and pathways connecting employers and students committed to behavioral health and related professions.
  •  Position and represent Rivier’s commitment to workforce development in the area of behavioral health and addiction.
  •  Research and identify government and private grant funding opportunities. 

 


QUALIFICATIONS:

 The successful candidate will have a master’s degree and employment experience in the one of the programs represented in the portfolio of Rivier’s behavioral health programs, with a preference for experience in a counseling or mental health environment. Demonstrated passion for connecting academic programs to students and employers. Experience supporting professional or graduate educational programs and working with diverse stakeholders. Working knowledge of state licensure and addiction certification requirements.  

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The Director will lead an initial team including a graduate admissions counselor and administrative assistant. Enrollment activities of the Center will be supported through the existing Office of Graduate and Professional Studies Admissions.

  •  High energy and self-starter.
  • Ability to plan and implement a multi-channel communciations and engagement plan consistent with the Center’s mission.
  •  Experience collaborating across academic divisions and programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a workforce development setting.
  • Knowledge of academic programs relevant to regional employers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally to help establish and maintain relationships.
