Field Placement Coordinator

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rivier University seeks a Field Placement Coordinator to join the Division of Education beginning August 2017.  We invite applications to serve as an adjunct faculty member for a minimum of 10 hours a week in the Doctoral Program for Counseling and School Psychology.  This faculty member will have primary responsibilities for overseeing the implementation and on-going coordination of doctoral level practicum training sites, as well as the development of doctoral level internship sites.  The candidate is expected to be actively involved in the mentoring of graduate and doctoral students in school psychology and counseling.

We seek a candidate with personal and professional clinical experience which enables them to provide leadership throughout the students program of study.  The position may include teaching and supervision opportunities in courses in the counseling and school psychology programs.  Professional clinical experience and contacts with a variety of mental health and counseling services, programs and organizations in New Hampshire and the region are required.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants with professional knowledge and experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Earned doctorate from an APA accredited training program with a minimum of ten years professional experience in clinical practice;
  • Graduate and doctoral teaching and clinical supervision;
  • Experience and promise in advising and mentoring doctoral students;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current research based practices, a history of clinical and professional practice in school psychology and/or counseling psychology
