Using Your Audix Answering System
Setting it up:
- Dial 8000 to get to audix
- Enter your extension and then the # key
- You will then be asked for your password, enter 0 and #
- Now you will be asked to choose a password, discuss this with your roommate so that it will be something you can both remember
- Enter a 6 digit password, then the # key
- You will be asked to re-enter the password and # key to confirm your new password
Creating your message:
- Enter 3 to administer personal greeting
- Enter 1 to create a greeting
- After the tone record your message and enter # to approve or 1 to edit your message.
- To use this greeting for all greetings enter 1 and #
Personalizing your audix:
- While at the main menu enter 5
- To record your name(s) enter 5 again
- Say your name(s) at the tone and enter # to approve
Getting your messages:
- Dial 8000

- Enter password and #
