Required Hours:          20 hours* per week for 15 weeks (*schedule is flexible) 


  •    Managing the day-to-day operations
  •    Providing routine maintenance of computers, printers, scanners, LAN and server, and related equipment
  •    Developing a basic proficiency of imaging software to be able to assist students
  •    Maintaining consumables inventories
  •    Enforcing policies and procedures
  •    Providing software installation and updates management
  •    Providing color management and calibration
  •    Operating the RIP Station and color printer proficiently
  •    Training student work-study assistants
  •    Troubleshooting computers for operational irregularities
  •    16x7 on call technical support


The candidate must be enrolled as a Graduate Student at Rivier University. This is a 300 hour per semester work schedule which averages out to approximately 20 hours of work per week over 15 weeks. 

The Digital Imaging Studio is a Macintosh image-based facility and the candidate would have an interest in and desire for a working knowledge of the Macintosh platform. As indicated by the duties, the position requires a significant sense of responsibility, a high degree of initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Candidate must also encompass the ability and willingness to support the mission of the University, in all daily activities.
