DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rivier University invites outstanding teachers and scholars to apply for a non-tenure track Instructor position in Religious Studies. The University is particularly interested in generalists who are committed to teaching first year and junior students in support of Rivier’s innovative new Core Curriculum, “Journeys of Transformation.”
The successful candidates teaching responsibilities will include seven courses over the academic year: 1) two First-Year Religion Seminars each term; 2) three upper-division courses spread over the two semesters.
The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University, in all daily activities.
The successful candidate will be able to articulate why he or she is particularly interested in teaching religious studies at a Roman Catholic College whose core mission is to “transform hearts and minds to serve the world.” PhD or ThD required.
