ADJUNCT- ORGANIC CHEMISTRY II
DIVISION OF ARTS & SCIENCES
(3 credit lecture and 1 credit laboratory- Spring 2013)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rivier University is looking for a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Organic Chemistry II course with laboratory in spring 2013 semester (three credit lecture and a one credit laboratory).
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University, in all daily activities.
Candidates qualified to teach undergraduates will have a Ph.D degree in Organic Chemistry. Teaching experience is preferred. Instructors who can teach day classes are strongly encouraged to apply. Spring 2013 course is scheduled for Tuesday-Thursday (8:00 am – 9:15 am) and the lab is scheduled for Tuesday (9:30 am – 12:15 pm). Lab assistance is available. Spring classes begin 1/14/13 and end 5/03/13.
Kindly note this teaching position has the potential of turning into a full Fall-Spring semester course sequence for the qualified instructor who can teach the Organic Chemistry I course with laboratory in Fall 2013 semester (a 4-credit course).
